About the role
Synthron, a subsidiary of PROTEX INTERNATIONAL, is seeking an Ingenieur Technico-Commerciale (Contract Indefinite) to join their team. The position is based in home-office (primarily in Rhône-Alpes) and is part of the company's ongoing growth and expansion.
Responsibilities
- Govern and retain a client portfolio by providing technical support to develop sales of our solutions, ensuring adherence to pricing and price increases set by the General Management,
- Prospect new accounts leveraging expertise in chemistry and paper,
- Analyze sales forecasts and market trends, segment evolutions, and customer needs to make informed commercial recommendations: positioning, projects, new products...
- Provide quality reporting according to established formats and frequency.
Requirements
- Bac+4/+5 in Chemistry or Paper (type Pagora), with 5 to 10 years of experience in the specialty chemical industry for the paper sector, in commercial/marketing or technical support functions,
- Familiarity with paper manufacturing processes,
- Mastery of English,
- Experienced negotiator with a good sense of the territory and a drive for results,
- Dynamical, curious, business-minded, and passionate about product technology and customer applications,
- Available for travel and autonomous within their organization, able to listen and demonstrate conviction.
Qualifications
Preferred qualifications include:
- Experience in the paper or specialty chemical industry for the paper sector,
- Technical knowledge of paper manufacturing processes,
- Strong communication and negotiation skills,
- Ability to work autonomously and manage client relationships effectively.

- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks,

Pay
The salary range for this position is €35,000 - €50,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
