Ingénieur/-e en systèmes TIC (opérations POLYCOM)

Location: Berne (with remote work options) | 80-100% (job-sharing possible)

Responsibilities

• Operate the POLYCOM security radio system for Swiss Armed Forces users and affiliated federal organizations
• Manage and configure terminals in collaboration with operational and logistics services
• Ensure the smooth operation of the POLYCOM core infrastructure within the defense sub-network
• Participate in POLYCOM development projects for the defense sub-network, covering planning, design, solution development, testing, delivery, and operational deployment
• Develop concrete and sophisticated solution proposals
• Provide long-term IT service management and participate in national working groups as needed
• Prepare documentation, build knowledge, and organize training for the operations team and end-users

Requirements

• Degree in computer science (ES/HES), engineering (ES/HES), or technology (ES) with a specialization in IT or telecommunications
• Strong knowledge of digital radio technology and basic knowledge of mobile telephony (4G/LTE, 5G, Mobile Core, VoLTE, IMS)
• Good understanding of IP networks (TCP/IP, Routing, Switching, DNS, VPN, Firewalls) and IT service management
• Experience in monitoring, troubleshooting, and quality assurance of communication systems
• Basic knowledge of network security aspects (e.g., encryption, authentication, certificate management)
• Structured and independent work methods within corporate and project frameworks, including collaboration with vendors
