About The Role
The Springfield Empowerment Zone Partnership (SEZP) is committed to creating engaging learning environments where teachers receive support for professional growth and students have opportunities to develop academic and personal skills.
About The Springfield Empowerment Zone Partnership
In 2015, the MA Department of Elementary and Secondary Education and Springfield Public Schools partnered to form SEZP. SEZP aims to ensure that middle and high schools in “The Zone” are places where teachers thrive and students excel.
Each SEZP school has autonomy to craft its own vision for success and receives support from a network of national-level partners. Additionally, Teacher Leadership Teams ensure that teacher voices are heard and that there is open communication between administration and staff.

SEZP seeks educators who are passionate about collaborating, fostering a diverse and energetic classroom, and supporting their own professional development.
