About the role

Southern Nye Schools (Pahrump Schools only). Northern Nye applicants will not be considered for this vacancy.

Qualifications

  • Must pass a reference check and drug and alcohol testing.
  • Must obtain a Substitute Teacher License from the Nevada Department of Education:
    • Applicants must have 60 college credits to be eligible for a Certified Substitute Teacher license.
    • Applicants who have not earned 60 college credits must have a high school diploma or equivalent to be eligible for an Emergency Substitute Teacher license.
    • Must complete two days of classroom observations.

Working Conditions

Office or suitable workspace with desk, telephone, computer, and supplies necessary to carry out the functions of the position description.
