About the role
The Substitute Teacher (Northern Nye Schools) position is designed to provide instruction in classrooms when regular teachers are absent.
Qualifications
- Pass a reference check and drug and alcohol testing
- Obtain a Substitute Teacher License from the Nevada Department of Education
- Have 60 college credits for a Certified Substitute Teacher license or a HS diploma/equivalent for an Emergency Substitute Teacher license
- Complete two days of classroom observations
Requirements
Applicants must reside within the service area of Northern Nye Schools (Amargosa, Beatty, Gabbs, Round Mountain, and Tonopah Schools).
