SY 26-27 - TEACHER - MATH
Position Summary
The 10th Grade Academy at Lawrence High School is seeking an exceptional Math Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate has a growth mindset, values collaboration and continuous improvement, and believes all students can achieve at high levels. The Math Teacher will provide engaging, standards-aligned instruction, foster students' problem-solving skills, and contribute to a positive, inclusive learning environment that supports every student's success. The ideal candidate possesses a belief that all students are capable of learning and enjoys working with a strong grade-level team.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Create academically rigorous lesson plans, materials, and assessments utilizing the Eureka Squared (Math curriculum)
- Maintain homeroom cumulative folders
- Incorporate technology into lesson activities
- Oversee one homeroom class and one advisory class
- Participate in the Warrior S.T.R.O.N.G. schoolwide positive behavior support protocols
- Maintain homeroom cumulative folders
- Participate in grade-level and content vertical planning meetings
- Attend IEP, 504, student support, and team meetings
- Participate in curriculum night, report card night(s), and building meetings to support instructional delivery and student needs.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
- Experience in collaborating with social service agencies
- Strong facilitation and communication skills
- Proficient in English
- Bilingual Candidates Preferred
- Experience with at-risk youth
Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree required (Masters preferred)
- Massachusetts Teaching Certification in Mathematics (6-12)
- Experience working with school age children using a developmental model which includes delivering services in an individual, small group, and large group setting

Pay Range
$61,788.00 - $94,614.00
