About the role

We are actively recruiting currently sworn, non-retired Police Officers to join our Company Police Force in North Carolina. This is an opportunity to work with a highly trained, state-compliant private police agency that values professionalism, advanced training, and public safety. Full-time, part-time, weekend-only, and on-call work available.

Pay

$37.50 per hour. Police Officers who successfully complete all contractual requirements and secure an active position will receive a $2,000 hiring bonus. On your first anniversary, you’ll earn an additional $2,000 bonus. Beginning with your second anniversary and every year after, you’ll receive a $4,000 annual bonus as a continued reward for your service and dedication.

Responsibilities

• Perform general law enforcement duties including patrolling hospital campus, checking property, conducting room searches, maintaining order, and ensuring public safety.
• Issue traffic and parking citations; apprehend, question, and arrest suspects; collect and preserve evidence; conduct investigations.
• Respond to and assist in all medical emergencies; assist in conducting fire drills and evacuating buildings.
• Provide security escorts for personnel and chauffeur division heads and visitors as requested.
• Attend required periodic training sessions and seminars; maintain required level of proficiency in the use of firearms.
• Perform other duties as required to meet the client’s needs.

Requirements

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Must be an active police officer (not retired).
• High School Diploma or GED, Police ID, VPEC, and Firearm certification.
• North Carolina Basic Law Enforcement certification is required.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• Able to work in various environments such as cold weather, rain/snow, or heat.
• Occasionally lift or carry up to 40 pounds.
• Climb stairs, ramps, or ladders occasionally during shift.
• Stand or walk on various surfaces for long periods of time.
