Switches Assembler

Responsibilities

• Work from product drawings, work from written and verbal instructions.
• Perform hand assembly of small parts using hand tools.
• Trim, lead form, clinch, electrical test, assemble, stake, and rivet on small presses on line process as well as off line operations.
• Wire strip and etch.
• Perform individual off line assembly work as required.
• Inspect assemblies and parts to ensure quality standards are maintained.
• Maintain production records as required.
• Use small fixtures, soldering irons, small press, gauges, and test fixtures and hand tools.
• Follow safety rules and keep work area in a clean and orderly condition.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

• Ability to communicate in English and Spanish.
• Demonstrated ability to work well with others and the ability to work independently.
• Heavy lifting at times.
• Attention to detail.
