Swiss/Turn Mill Programmer

About the role

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Consulting-to-Hire Swiss/Turn Mill Programmer to join our team. This role offers the opportunity to work with cutting-edge technology and machinery in a world-class manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Program and operate CNC Swiss Turning Centers to manufacture precision components.
• Develop and implement CNC programs for new projects using G Code.
• Perform first piece inspection to ensure quality and consistency.
• Set up and operate CNC Lathes and CNC Mills.
• Participate in design reviews to improve product manufacturability.
• Provide technical support to the production team and troubleshoot manufacturing issues.
• Perform material planning to ensure adequate supplies for production.
• Collaborate with engineers and team members to improve manufacturing processes and product quality.
• Ensure all safety procedures are followed and maintain a clean, safe work environment.

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a CNC Swiss Machinist.
• Proficiency in G Code and CNC programming.
• Experience with CNC Lathes and CNC Mills.
• Strong knowledge of material planning processes.
• Proven experience in first piece inspection.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot issues quickly.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work well in a team.
• Keen eye for detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
• Strong understanding of safety procedures.
• A degree or equivalent experience in a relevant field is preferred.

Pay

$30 - $35 per hour.
