Responsibilities

• Select, install, and align tooling, fixtures, and workpieces for CNC machines.
• Perform machine setup, including zeroing axes, loading programs, and verifying parameters.
• Monitor machine operations during production runs and make adjustments as needed to maintain quality and productivity.
• Troubleshoot machining issues, including tooling wear, offsets, and surface finish concerns.
• Follow established safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized work area.
• Collaborate with Inspection, Leads, and Off-shift Personnel.
• Support process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency, reduce scrap, and improve quality.
• Prioritize according to demand.
• Conduct good housekeeping.
• Comply with ISO13485, 21 CFR Part 820, and medical device industry requirements.
• Display respect and maintain a positive attitude.

Requirements

• Must be able to read basic level blueprints features.
• Must be able to use micrometers, dial calipers, and comparators.
• Basic understanding of metrology reporting.
• Basic math, calculation, and related skills needed.
• Must be able to comply with Quality System requirements.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Minimum 3 years of Medical Device experience.

• Ability to prioritize according to demand.
• Good housekeeping skills.
