Swiss CNC Machinist
About the Role
Set up and operate CNC Swiss machines to perform routine and repetitive machining operations. Fabricate components according to Engineering drawings while consistently meeting customer specifications, quality requirements, production standards, and scheduling expectations.
Responsibilities
- Set up and operate CNC Swiss machines to complete routine and repetitive machining operations
- Fabricate new components according to Engineering drawings
- Verify completed work using appropriate measurement methods
- Complete jobs according to established due dates using the current scheduling system
- Report job progress accurately in the current scheduling system
Requirements
- Two-year Machine Tool diploma or degree, or equivalent experience
- Ability to set up CNC Swiss machines
- Working knowledge of geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T)
- Ability to read and work from engineering drawings
- Ability to verify work using various measurement methods
- Basic computer skills
Schedule
- 1st Shift: Monday-Thursday, 5:00 a.m.-3:30 p.m. or Monday-Friday, 7:00 a.m.-3:30 p.m.
- 2nd Shift: Monday-Thursday, 3:25 p.m.-1:55 a.m.
Pay
$25.00-$37.00/hour, plus a $1.50/hour shift premium for second shift. Signing bonus of up to $6,000 is available, depending on shift.
