The Store Team is responsible for achieving and maintaining a high level of customer service and friendliness, which includes the outstanding Freight and Receiving team. The team strives to create the best shopping experience possible and wants customers to feel right at home when they shop at Bi‑Mart.
Bi‑Mart is looking for an organized and energetic Freight Clerk to join the Receiving team. This role builds, promotes, and delivers a high degree of customer service.
Responsibilities
- Build, promote, and deliver a high degree of customer service
- Inventory replenishment
- Stocking
- Cashiering
- Maintaining merchandise
- Unload delivery trucks quickly and safely
- Accurately handle merchandise (properly store in the backroom or restock the sales floor)
Qualifications
- Ability to communicate well verbally and in writing
- Capability to arrive on time with a positive and friendly attitude
- Ability to be precise, set priorities, and organize workload
- Talent to efficiently solve problems and offer solutions to customers
- Capacity to engage with and assist a variety of individuals
- Ability to provide excellent customer service
- Previous experience as a cashier, sales associate, bagger, warehouse worker, or other retail positions are a plus
- Prior experience at retail brands such as Target, Walgreens, Rite Aid, Fred Meyer, Safeway, and Albertsons is also an asset
