Swing Manager

About the role

This job posting is for a Certified Swing Manager position in a restaurant owned and operated by an independent franchisee, not McDonald’s USA. The franchisee is a separate company and employer from McDonald’s USA. The franchisee is responsible for employment matters including hiring, firing, discipline, supervision, staffing, and scheduling.

Responsibilities

• Lead shifts weekly, ensuring customers receive a fast, accurate, friendly experience.
• Provide leadership to crew and other managers during a shift to maintain Quality, Service, and Cleanliness standards.
• Monitor performance during the shift, take corrective actions as needed, and ensure safety, security, and profitability.
• Communicate with the next Shift Manager to prepare them for their shift.
• Meet targets during their shift and assist in meeting Department goals.
• Manage inventory, daily maintenance, and cleanliness.
• Ensure exceptional customer service.
• Manage crew effectively.
• Manage food safety.

Requirements

• Previous leadership experience, preferably in a restaurant, retail, or hospitality environment.
• Positive team player with a flexible schedule.
• Passion for working in the fast-paced McDonald’s environment.
• Must be 18 years or older to be a manager in corporate-owned McDonald’s restaurants.
