Swim Supervisor
Position Summary
As the Aquatics Supervisor, you will enjoy working in a fast-paced environment. You will help members improve their swimming in our state-of-the-art recreational and lap pools, both indoors and out. This position assists in managing and training all Aquatics Team Members. You will help members and guests by providing great customer service and maintaining the cleanliness and order of our Aquatics Facilities.
Job Duties And Responsibilities
- Ensures Aquatics Team Members offer a safe and friendly environment for all members and guests
- Responds to Member inquiries about Life Time programs, products, services, policies, and procedures
- Ensures we have the highest level of programming
- Promotes Life Time swim program
Minimum Required Qualifications
- Ability to work in a stationary position and move about the club for prolonged periods of time
- Communicate and exchange information with guests who have inquiries about Life Time products and services
- Swim 300 yards/meters without stopping
- Routinely bend to raise 20 lbs or less and occasionally bend to lift more than 20 lbs
- Traverse 1 minute treading water
- Swim, retrieve a 10 lb diving brick from the bottom of the pool and swim the brick to the top without stopping
Education
- High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent
Years of Experience
- 6 months of customer service experience
- 1 year coaching and/or swim instructor experience
- 1 year of lifeguarding experience
- 6 months of head guard or supervising experience
Licenses / Certifications / Registrations
- StarGuard Elite Lifeguard, BLS CPR, and First Aid Certified (or bridge to StarGuard when current certification expires or within 1st year, whichever is first)
- For Canada, Lifesaving Society Lifeguard certification and Standard FA with CPR C
Pay
This is an hourly position with wages starting at $17.50 and pays up to $21.00, based on experience and qualifications.
