Responsibilities
- Cook out all activities involving the six week swim program
- Contact facilities, staff, and complete necessary paperwork
- Supervise staff and the people we support in the pool
- Support staff and the people we support with pool guidance and safety needs
- Enforce pool policies, rules, and regulations
- Organize pool area when multiple activities are occurring to avoid conflict and frustration of people we support
- Participate in training and development activities in accordance with department and agency policies
- Follow proper procedure when notified about defective pool equipment and incident reports
Requirements
- A High School Diploma or equivalent
- At least 1 year of job-related experience, specifically with people with developmental disabilities
