Swim Lesson Coordinator
Duties of a Swim Lesson Coordinator
- Assist in providing leadership to our aquatics staff.
- Manage and train staff.
- Maintain facility cleanliness.
- Build relationships with staff and members.
- Work up to 25 hours per week.
- Direct service and flexibility to fill in as needed.
Qualifications of a Swim Lesson Coordinator
- A minimum of two years' experience in an aquatics department.
- Lifeguarding experience is required.
- Ability to lead a group of lifeguards through in-service scenarios.
- A degree in wellness or related field is preferred.
- Proficiency with a computer and MS Office.
- Current CPR/First Aid/AED certifications.
- Current YMCA/or American Red Cross Lifeguard/or Ellis certification.
- Oxygen Administration certification within 30 days of hire.
- Lifeguard Instructor certification is highly desired.
About the Role
The Goochland Family YMCA is currently seeking a part-time Swim Lesson Coordinator to help supervise, implement, and coordinate our swim lesson programs. We need someone with evening and weekend availability.
