About the role
Responsible for teaching swimming lessons to children and adults at a local community pool. Duties include preparing lesson plans, supervising swimmers during classes, and maintaining pool equipment.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and deliver swimming lessons to children and adults
- Supervise swimmers during classes to ensure safety and proper technique
- Maintain pool equipment and facilities
- Communicate with parents/guardians about their child’s progress
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Education or related field
- Valid lifeguard certification
- Experience working with children and/or adults
- Excellent communication skills
Qualifications
- Strong physical fitness
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends
- Pass a background check
