Swim Instructor (part-time)

About the role

Looking to make extra money while making a splash? HealthFitness is diving into summer and looking for enthusiastic Swim Instructors to join the Aquatics Team at our community client site in Beaumont, TX!

Responsibilities

• Provide effective and safe swim instruction to adults and children participating in private or small group lessons.
• Design individualized programs to meet the participant's interests, abilities, and goals.

Requirements

• Must be at least 17 years old.
• Adult & Child CPR/AED/First Aid certification from American Heart Association, American Red Cross or American Safety & Health Institute required prior to start date.
• Must have a strong swim background.
• Proficiency in all swim strokes.

Qualifications

• Meet hiring requirements including but not limited to pre-employment drug test.

Skills

• Effective communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong customer service orientation.

Benefits

• Competitive pay range of $15 - $17/hour, dependent on experience and qualifications.

Pay

Compensation: $15 - $17/hour.

Schedule

This part-time role (up to 19 hours/week).
