About the role
The role involves teaching swimming lessons to children and adults in a fun and engaging environment. Responsibilities include developing lesson plans, supervising swimmers during classes, and maintaining a safe and welcoming atmosphere.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement swim lesson plans tailored to different age groups and skill levels.
- Safeguard swimmers during classes and ensure they are following safety guidelines.
- Engage with parents and guardians to provide feedback on their child’s progress and offer suggestions for improvement.
- Maintain a positive and inclusive environment that encourages all participants to enjoy swimming.
Requirements
- A valid lifeguard certification.
- Experience working with children and adults.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Education, Aquatic Studies, or related field.
- Previous experience in a similar role.
- Knowledge of CPR and first aid.
