Swim Instructor
About the role
The Northside Family YMCA is seeking part time swim instructors to lead swim lessons for program participants at our pool. Looking for open availability.
Responsibilities
- Enthusiastic and energetic, with strong interpersonal skills
- Work with small groups of students teaching swimming skills, basic water safety, and the YMCA core values
- Work a variety of shifts with a variety of ages using a variety of tools and teaching techniques
Qualifications
- Current CPR, AED and First Aid certifications
- Current YMCA, American Red Cross Lifeguard, or Ellis and YMCA Swim Lesson Instructor or WSI certifications preferred but not required
- If not certified, we will provide certification

Pay
The pay range for this position is $15-$17 per hour based on experience & qualifications.
