Swim Instructor

About the role

Lead fun, safe, goal-oriented swim lessons. Celebrate every milestone as students gain new skills. Communicate with families and management to ensure progress and safety.

Responsibilities

• Teach swim lessons in warm, indoor pools
• Build students' confidence and new skills
• Communicate with families and management to ensure safety and progress

Requirements

• Able to tread water
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs
• Demonstrate swim techniques safely
• First Aid/CPR/AED (Infant/Child/Adult) or willing to obtain with our guidance

Qualifications

• No prior teaching experience required — we'll provide full training and mentorship
• At least 18 years old

• Passion for helping kids build confidence and new skills
• Adaptability to adjust teaching style to each student
• Self-responsibility to learn and give each lesson your full attention
• Approachability to be welcoming, patient, and a clear communicator
• Integrity to do what's right, even when no one's watching

Pay, Schedule & Growth

• Pay Range: $24.50–$26.00 per hour (average including bonuses)
• Performance-based pay: earn more as your student schedule grows
