About the role
As a Swim Instructor, your main focus is to teach swimming skills in accordance with SafeSplash curriculum in a fun, positive manner. You will provide continuous, positive corrective feedback to students and customers on their swimming efforts, structure class time to incorporate repetition, reinforcement, and introduction of required skills, and ensure swimmer safety.
Requirements
- Previous swim instruction is preferred but we are happy to train you
- WSI certification preferred
- Current American Red Cross CPR-PR/AED, First Aid for adult, swimmer and infant preferred (certification can be obtained within 60 days of hire)
- Special consideration given to instructors with experience teaching swimmers age 6 months to 10 years and Special Needs
