Responsibilities
The main focus of a swim instructor is to teach swimming skills in accordance with SafeSplash curriculum in a fun, positive manner. This includes:
- Providing continuous, positive corrective feedback to students and customers on their swimming efforts
- Structuring class time appropriately to incorporate repetition, reinforcement, and introduction of required skills
- Ensuring swimmer safety
Requirements
We are looking for someone with:
- Previous swim instruction experience (preferred but not required)
- WSI certification (preferred)
- Current American Red Cross CPR-PR/AED, First Aid for adult, swimmer and infant (preferred but we will help you get certified in 60 days of hire)
- Special consideration given to instructors with experience teaching swimmers age 6 months to 10 years and Special Needs

Pay
Compensation: $16.35 - $19.00 per hour
