Swim Instructor
About the role
The Swim Instructor position offers a fun and engaging part-time opportunity. This role requires teaching swim lessons that motivate, educate, and encourage students of all ages and abilities.
Responsibilities
- Instruct 2 evenings classes a week and/or Saturday mornings.
- Teach swim lessons that motivate, educate, and encourage students of all ages and abilities.
- Maintain knowledge and understanding of all swimming strokes and skills, as well as knowledge of American Red Cross Learn-to-Swim levels.
- Communicate effectively with the public and other team members.
- Work independently and follow and enforce all pool standards and rules.
- Work flexible shifts to accommodate various times.
Requirements
- Must be fifteen (15) years of age at the time of application.
- Possession of current certifications in CPR/AED and First Aid.
Qualifications
- Non-Certified Swim Instructor - $17.05 - $21.70 per hour
- WSI Certified Swim Instructor - $17.55 - $21.70 per hour
Skills
- Knowledge of all swimming strokes and skills, as well as knowledge of American Red Cross Learn-to-Swim levels.
- Ability to swim to safety with a full-grown adult and remain calm in emergencies.
- Effective communication skills.
- Flexibility to work a variety of shifts.

- Non-Certified Swim Instructor - $17.05 - $21.70 per hour
- WSI Certified Swim Instructor - $17.55 - $21.70 per hour
Schedule
- Ranges from morning to evening hours and weekends.
