Sweeping Day Porter

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness and overall appearance of commercial properties
• Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, litter removal, dusting, window cleaning, and trash removal
• Restock restroom supplies such as paper products and soap as needed
• Respond promptly to service requests including litter pickup and cleanup of debris or illegal dumping
• Monitor properties for maintenance or safety issues and report concerns to appropriate personnel
• Clean and sanitize high-touch surfaces to support health and safety standards
• Assist with special requests, deliveries, and basic site support as needed

Qualifications

• Previous janitorial, custodial, or porter experience preferred but not required
• Strong attention to detail and proactive work approach
• Good communication skills and professional presentation
• Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift up to 30 pounds regularly
• Ability to stand, walk, and perform repetitive tasks for extended periods
• Ability to work outdoors and in varying environmental conditions

Work Environment

• This role is performed on active commercial properties and may involve both indoor and outdoor work.
• Work hours are typically Monday through Friday during business hours, with flexibility required based on client needs.

Compensation and Benefits

• $21.00 – $24.00 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications
