About the role
You’ll collaborate closely with the CEO to develop, maintain, and expand the rollup stack offerings and customizations enabled by our leading Rollup-as-a-Service platform. You’ll create custom precompiles and whitelisted contract deployers that introduce entirely new or more efficient functionalities, and you’ll assist in broadening our support for emerging L2s.
Responsibilities
- Create custom precompiles and whitelisted contract deployers that introduce entirely new or more efficient functionalities.
- Aid in broadening support for emerging Layer 2s.
- Contribute to defining Conduit’s product strategy and roadmap with the rest of the team.
- Architect, build, and deploy systems, services, and integrations that help our rollups connect with other ecosystem partners.
- Tinker with optimistic and ZK rollups and deploy applications to various chains.
- Debug problems across the stack, such as networking issues, performance problems, or memory leaks.
- Own problems end-to-end and be willing to pick up any knowledge necessary to get the job done.
Requirements
- A strong background in distributed systems, cryptography, and network protocols.
- Experience hacking on various rollups, understanding the underlying components, and having opinions about the trade-offs of those components and platforms.
- Experience with hacking on EVM node software.
- A deep understanding of the EVM and how external tooling integrates with it.
- Familiarity with multiple programming languages, including but not limited to Golang, Rust, and Solidity.
Qualifications
- Love rollups and their potential to exponentially scale Ethereum and be passionate about building best-in-class tooling and infrastructure for it.
- Eager to architect, build, and deploy the systems, services, and integrations that help our rollups connect with other ecosystem partners.
- Experience tinkering with optimistic and ZK rollups and deploying applications to various chains.
