About the role

The SVP, Treasury & Payments Product Manager is responsible for the strategic vision, profitability, development, and lifecycle management of Forbright Bank's commercial deposit, treasury management, and payments product portfolio, with a primary focus on serving the needs of middle market businesses.

This role owns the product strategy from ideation through commercialization, ensuring products align with client needs, competitive market trends, regulatory requirements, and the Bank's strategic objectives. The role is accountable for product financial performance, including revenue growth, profitability, pricing strategy, adoption, and return on investment.

Responsibilities

  • Develops business cases for new products and enhancements, defines product roadmaps, and manages implementation efforts.
  • Serves as the voice of the customer by actively gathering feedback from clients and frontline associates, identifying opportunities for innovation, and continuously improving the client experience.
  • Works closely with Treasury Sales, Commercial Banking, Operations, Technology, Marketing, Compliance, Risk, Finance, and third-party vendors to ensure successful product launches.
  • Ensures products align with client needs, competitive market trends, regulatory requirements, and the Bank's strategic objectives.
  • Manages product financial performance, including revenue growth, profitability, pricing strategy, adoption, and return on investment.
  • Collaborates with cross-functional teams to develop and implement strategies that drive profitable growth and deliver treasury solutions that differentiate Forbright Bank in the middle market.

Requirements

  • Experience in managing and leading product development and commercialization processes.
  • Proven track record of developing and launching successful products in the financial services industry.
  • Strong understanding of treasury management, payment systems, and commercial banking products.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with various stakeholders.
  • Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions based on market trends and client feedback.
  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements and compliance standards relevant to the financial services industry.
  • Experience in managing budgets and financial performance metrics.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, business administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in product management, preferably in the financial services sector.

Pay

The specific rate will depend on the successful candidate’s qualifications and prior experience, ranging from $90,000 (entry level qualifications) to $139,500 (highly experienced).
