SVP of Engineering
Company Overview
Finance of America is a leading provider of home equity–based financing solutions, on a mission to transform how older Americans access and leverage their home equity in retirement. As the largest and longest-operating reverse mortgage provider in the country, Finance of America held 36% of the Home Equity Conversion Mortgage (HECM) market in 2025 and has funded over $17 billion in reverse mortgage volume since 2018—a scale no competitor comes close to matching. The company is now in active transformation, evolving from a traditional lending model into a digitally-enabled, direct-to-consumer fintech platform. With approximately 800 employees and operations spanning wholesale and retail channels, Finance of America is investing aggressively in modern infrastructure, digital customer acquisition, and AI-enabled capabilities to cement its category leadership and unlock the next phase of growth.
