SVP, Marketing Effectiveness
About the role
The SVP, Analytics leads strategic direction for key clients in B2B tech and the ME team, consisting of approximately 60 analytics professionals across the US. They are responsible for media measurement, analytics strategy, and thought leadership.
Responsibilities
- Develops connections between agency functions and client engagements.
- Manages analytics delivery teams and provides thought leadership on measurement and analytics strategy.
- Generates media insights and measurement strategies for brand and performance media.
- Identifies and develops product-specific analytics offerings for specific clients.
- Authors white papers, publishes POV’s, and speaks at conferences.
- Evaluates and partners with external vendors and technologies.
- Evaluates prospective technologies and companies for partnership or corporate acquisition.
- Advises the agency on key industry trends and innovations.
- Exhibits strong analytical, project management, storytelling, and communication skills.
- Partners with new business to identify opportunities for growth and development.
- Crafts and implements the ME vision and recruits and develops managers.
- Sets vision/strategy and facilitates team operations to deliver quality and timely deliverables.
- Leads local/national department initiatives, elevates the work, provides training, knowledge sharing, and best practices.
- Empowers direct reports to own their client, relationships, and projects.
- Manages performance and career growth of direct reports.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Economics, Data Science or related quantitative field, or Master's degree preferred.
- 15+ years in a quantitative business environment, with 8+ years in marketing analytics focusing on B2B tech businesses.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex findings in simple terms.
- Strong organizational skills, political instincts, and proven leadership ability.
- Demonstrated understanding of media planning and buying, with advanced media measurement capabilities (i.e. MMM, MTA), and planning.
- Advanced in SQL, Python, or R, and advanced MS Office Skills (MS Word, Excel, Powerpoint).

Pay
The annual base salary range for this position is $217,500 - $275,000. Placement within the salary range is based on a variety of factors, including relevant experience, knowledge, skills, and other factors permitted by law. Additionally, this position is eligible for discretionary incentive compensation.
Schedule
Location is flexible, with a requirement to support West Coast working hours. Employees who live within a commutable distance of one of our hub offices, currently located in Chicago, metro Detroit, Los Angeles, and New York City, are required and expected to work from the office three days per week (two days per week for employees based in Los Angeles). Employees who live outside a commutable range may be designated as remote, depending on the role and business needs.
