SVP, Digital (Health)

About the role

Remote SVP, Digital (Health) position starting ASAP for a 3‑month contract, 20 hours per week (EST/CST preferred). Must be authorized to work in the U.S.; this role is not eligible for sponsorship. We’re seeking an experienced SVP‑level Digital Strategist to serve as a senior digital lead supporting a major pharmaceutical account. This person will partner closely with account, communications, marketing, and creative teams to develop integrated digital strategies across key product launches, campaigns, data milestones, and 2027 planning.

Responsibilities

• Lead holistic digital strategy across paid media, social/influencer, web, CRM/email, search, UX, and measurement
• Serve as a senior strategic advisor to pharmaceutical clients across HCP and patient audiences
• Translate business and marketing challenges into integrated digital solutions
• Orchestrate specialists across digital disciplines to deliver a cohesive strategy
• Support both branded and unbranded pharmaceutical communications
• Provide strategic guidance around product launches, medical/data milestones, and integrated campaigns
• Build strong client relationships and identify opportunities for organic account growth

Qualifications

• 10 years of digital strategy experience with significant pharmaceutical/healthcare experience
• Experience developing digital strategy across HCP and patient audiences, ideally spanning both branded and unbranded pharma work
• Broad understanding of the digital ecosystem, including paid media, social/influencer, web, CRM/email, search, UX, analytics, and measurement
• Strong understanding of pharma requirements including MLR, ISI/fair balance, OPDP, AE reporting, privacy, and data use
• Broad digital expertise with a strong foundation in digital content and/or social
• Experience leading integrated teams and advising senior-level clients
• Collaborative, relationship‑oriented approach with the ability to step into an established account quickly
