SVP Corporate Controller

Responsibilities

• Oversee all aspects of the company's financial reporting, general accounting, and budgeting, ensuring timely and accurate financial statements and analysis.
• Serve as a strategic partner to the CFO in scaling the company organically and through acquisition.
• Interface with the Board of Directors and Private Equity Sponsors.
• Manage payroll, M&A support, and vendor payments.
• Support the preparation of the annual budget, budget package for the Board, and monthly actual vs. budget variance analysis with related recommendations.

Requirements

• Master’s degree preferred; Bachelor’s degree required.
• 15+ years of experience in senior accounting roles with progressive responsibility; minimum 5 years of public accounting experience required.
• Must have public company or public debt experience.
• Experience working in multi-tasking environments and decentralized situations.
• Experience in an environment with companies in transition, such as growth or change.
• Experience and/or exposure to technology-enabling environments.
• Experience with acquisitions and integrations.
• Appreciation for the importance of customers and operating teams.
• Strong growth and profit orientation.
• Organizational and presentation skills.
• Proven leadership capabilities.
• Ability to gain respect from senior management and team.
• Experience with Great Plains is helpful.

Qualifications

• A CPA designation.
