The SVP, Capital Markets is primarily responsible for sourcing, structuring, negotiating, and closing debt and equity capital for complex, high-volume transactions, including bond issuances and other structured debt vehicles supporting data center and broader real estate investments. This position is critical to providing the capital strategy and financing execution needed to fuel AREP's growth, with a particular emphasis on the scale and complexity of data center transactions. The SVP, Capital Markets reports to the Managing Director, Acquisitions and has an in-office schedule.
Responsibilities
- Run competitive loan processes or manage brokers to identify optimal construction financing for new developments.
- Negotiate loan documents and guaranties, manage lender due diligence coordination, and close construction financings.
- Identify capital partners for new investments or manage third party processes for deal JV capitalizations.
- Negotiate joint venture agreements, and work with them to diligence and close the investments.
- Perform various financial analyses for prospective investment opportunities in Excel.
