Sustaining Test Engineer II

Responsibilities

  • Captures production test equipment
  • Qualifies and characterizes test equipment
  • Installs hardware and software updates as needed
  • Presents ideas for custom tooling and process improvements
  • Reviews engineering design drawings and DFX reports for testability
  • Develops and executes product-specific test programs
  • Collaborates with cross-functional teams to resolve issues
  • Develops preventative maintenance and calibration procedures
  • Analyzes line return information to identify and implement corrective actions
  • Complies with and follows company policies and procedures
  • Performs other duties as assigned

  • Understand and use metrics and continuous improvement tools (e.g. DPMO, FPY, DPM, Six Sigma, FMEA, etc.)
  • 5+ years of electronics manufacturing experience
  • Limited experience in Lean Sigma Greenbelt
  • Familiarity with advanced technologies and applications
  • Able to travel up to 20%

Qualifications

  • 4 year degree in Electrical/Computing Engineering, or related field such as Physics or Computer Science WITH hardware experience

  • Work Schedule: M-F 0800-1700

Other Information

  • Compensation Range: $81,154.00 to $114,731.00 USD
