Responsibilities

  • Help implement Sustainability programs and initiatives that align with the company's strategic goals.
  • Support Sustainability projects, including energy efficiency, waste reduction, water conservation, and carbon footprint reduction.
  • Collaborate with various departments to integrate sustainability into business operations and decision-making processes.
  • Collect, analyze, and report on sustainability metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Prepare sustainability reports for internal and external stakeholders, including annual sustainability reports.
  • Track progress towards Sustainability goals and provide recommendations for continuous improvement.
  • Document sustainable sourcing policies and supplier assessments.
  • Monitor and evaluate supplier compliance with sustainability standards.
  • Work with procurement and supply chain teams to enhance the sustainability of products and services.
  • Participate in cross-functional teams focused on Sustainability projects and initiatives.
  • Perform other duties as needed.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred.
  • 2-4 years of job-related experience OR equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • Demonstrates strong knowledge of technical, process, and business principles as well as industry practices and standards.
  • Excellent communication, problem solving, and organizational skills.
  • Able to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively.
  • High level of integrity and discretion in handling sensitive and confidential data.
  • Proficient using Microsoft Office Suite products.

Other Pertinent Job Information

  • Occasional exposure to hazardous conditions caused by noise, moving mechanical parts, airborne particles, and other conditions associated with a high-traffic production floor.
  • Must be able to walk long distances and stand for long periods of time.
  • Bending, crouching, and stooping may be required.
  • Must be able to work in non-climate-controlled facilities.
  • The work environment may be a noisy, high traffic manufacturing production floor.
  • May be required to work a flexible schedule to include evening and night shifts, weekends, and holidays.
  • The ability to wear personal protective gear correctly most of the day.
  • The ability to lift 50 pounds regularly.
