About the role
This role is crucial for achieving zero waste at the venue. The Sustainability Crew Member will assist in post-show sorting of recyclables, compostables, and landfill materials, engage band members, and educate fans on sustainability practices.
Responsibilities
- Aid in the post-show sorting process of recycling, composting, and landfill materials
- Work closely with band members to ensure they understand their role in sustainability goals
- Inspire fan participation through various sustainability programs
- Participate in Zero Waste Captain training
Requirements
- 90% of time spent walking, bending, reaching, stooping, lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Dedication to making a real impact on sustainability
- Experience in events or zero waste events is a plus
- A positive attitude and creative problem-solving skills
- Strong teamwork and execution abilities
