Suspension/Lift Technician

About the role

The Tire & Wheel / Alignment Technician (Service Specialist) oversees all activity within the service shop. They ensure shop safety guidelines are followed, paperwork is completed, and maintain shop inventory, product, tools, and equipment.

Responsibilities

• Ensure shop safety guidelines are followed
• Complete paperwork
• Maintain shop inventory, product, tools, and equipment
• Oversee all activity in the installation shop
• Place product and supply orders
• Organize delivered merchandise
• Identify and properly tag all returned products
• Clean and maintain returned products
• Maintain an organized inventory system
• Control parts spending
• Lift and organize heavy product

Requirements

• At least 3 years' experience in: Ability to do lift kits on trucks, Install leveling kits, Install brakes, Mount, balance and install tires and wheels, Use of tire mounting and balancing machines, Install vehicle lifts, Well versed in alignments, Strong knowledge of light front-end work, Must be able to lift 50lbs unassisted

Qualifications

• Valid state driver license with a clean driving history
• Pass drug screen and background check
• ASE Certification is preferred but not required
• Prior experience as a tire technician, wheel specialist, automotive technician, auto tech, or an alignment tech is very helpful for success
