Responsibilities
- Prepare ingredients, including slicing fish, cutting vegetables, and making sushi rice
- Aid in making sushi rolls, nigiri, sashimi, and other menu items according to recipes and presentation standards
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, adhering to food safety and sanitation guidelines
- Operate efficiently in a fast-paced environment, ensuring timely preparation
- Ensure excellent food presentation and customer satisfaction
Requirements
- 1+ years of kitchen experience, preferably in a sushi or Japanese restaurant
- Basic knife skills and familiarity with sushi products
- Willingness to learn and grow in a culinary setting
