About the role
The Cook positions are one of the most important roles in ensuring every ticket is executed with consistency, timeliness, recipe adherence, and quality control, resulting in memorable meals for guests.
Responsibilities
- Execute multiple tickets throughout the shift focusing on preparation, plate presentation, and timeliness.
- Train in various stations including Grill, Sauté, Pantry, Pastry, and Sushi.
- Contribute to and excel in a team service environment.
- Follow company standards and guidelines, and perform opening, on-going, and closing side-work duties.
Requirements
- Minimum of 18 years of age.
- One year experience as a restaurant cook.
- High school graduate.
- Food handlers card.
- Ability to communicate verbally and in writing in English.
- Knowledge of cooking techniques and menu items.
- Ability to maintain knowledge of food serving and preparation equipment.
- Ability to understand and follow food orders.
