Responsibilities
- Prepare sushi dishes while maintaining food safety and sanitation standards.
- Work in a professional, fast-paced, scratch kitchen environment.
- Deliver an exceptional dining experience through precision, speed, and understanding of fresh ingredients.
- Perform opening duties and closing cleaning duties.
- Work in an open-kitchen layout with visibility from the dining room.
Requirements
- Must be 18 years of age to operate kitchen equipment.
- One year previous kitchen/culinary/chef experience is preferred, but not required.
- Experience and knowledge of kitchen equipment including but not limited to knives, slicer, mixer, stoves, and ovens required.
- Flexible to work a variety of shifts.
Qualifications
- Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds.
- Must be able to stand for long periods of time.
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
Skills
- Attention to detail.
- Knowledge of kitchen equipment.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
