Survey Department Openings
Project Engineer: Collaborate on land development projects with Project Managers and civil engineers. Requires a Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering with at least 3 years’ experience, P.E. license, and proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D.
Surveying Staff Engineer: Work alongside the Senior Land Surveyor, manage client relations, and prepare CAD mapping. Requires 3+ years of work experience in land surveying, AutoCAD Civil 3D proficiency, and an active CA Driver’s license.
Land Surveyor: Gain more responsibility and potential for management roles. Requires 5+ years of work experience in land surveying, P.L.S. certification, and proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D.
Party Chief: Lead a small crew in topographic and boundary surveying and construction staking. Requires 5+ years of experience with GPS & Robotic Total Stations, valid CA driver’s license, and basic computer skills.
Engineering Department Openings

Responsibilities
Survey Department:
- Design sewer, storm drain, and water pipe networks including structures and pipe sizes
- Design curb and gutter, street corridors, and finished surfaces
- Design sidewalks, curb ramps, and parking lots per ADA Standards
- Prepare Grading Plans, Improvement Plans, and Traffic Control Plans per City and County standards
- Prepare Drainages Studies, Water Quality Technical Reports (WQTR)/Storm Water Quality Management Plan (SWQMP) reports, and Water Pollution Control Plans (WPCP)/Stormwater Pollution Prevention Plan (SWPPP) reports for Priority and Standard projects per City, County, and State standards
- Prepare Bond Estimates, Storm Water Management and Discharge Control Maintenance Agreements (SWMDCMA), Encroachment Maintenance and Removal Agreements (EMRA), and Storm Water Applicability Checklists
- Effectively communicate and coordinate with clients, City/County departments, contractors, and other consultants on project via email, phone, and within meetings.
