About the role

The Survey Technician – QC will ensure the accuracy, standards, quality, and congruency of multiple products to fulfill job requests of the clients.

You will work with employees, managers, and supervisors throughout the corporation, as well as external customers, vendors, consultants, and governmental regulatory officials.

Responsibilities

  • Examine multiple products to verify information is accurate to the project/survey data.
  • Redline corrections and highlight verified data, noting any missing details required on the plats to fulfill the drafting request and maintain standards.
  • Return redline PDF via email to the designated source for appropriate corrections/updates.
  • Work in conjunction with the team to progress through the queue and meet deadlines.
  • Coordinate with drafters, other QC staff, and project managers to deliver jobs correctly.

Requirements

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to read and interpret a variety of maps, title reports, and legal descriptions.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software used to draft reports and letters.

  • Occasionally required to stand, walk, sit, use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls.

  • Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.

Schedule

Standard business hours are Monday–Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. The specific schedule for this role will be based on location and department.

Must be authorized to work in the United States. Travel to worksites may be required.
