Duties and Responsibilities
- Utilize survey field equipment (GPS, total station, electronic level, data collectors).
- Absorb survey field practice and procedures from senior survey staff.
- Aid survey crews in field data collection for boundary, topographic, ALTA/NSPS, record drawing surveys and construction staking services.
- Show basic ability to read and interpret survey maps, plats and drawings.
- Record field notes, sketches, and electronic data clearly and accurately.
- Locate and mark property corners, benchmarks, and control points.
- Perform basic survey calculations and data processing under supervision.
- Support with downloading, organizing, and reviewing field data.
Qualifications
- Must have a valid driver's license.
- CST certification preferred.
- AutoCAD Civil 3D experience preferred.
