Survey Technician

Duties and Responsibilities

• Utilize survey field equipment (GPS, total station, electronic level, data collectors).
• Absorb survey field practice and procedures from senior survey staff.
• Aid survey crews in field data collection for boundary, topographic, ALTA/NSPS, record drawing surveys, and construction staking services.
• Show basic ability to read and interpret survey maps, plats, and drawings.
• Record field notes, sketches, and electronic data clearly and accurately.
• Locate and mark property corners, benchmarks, and control points.
• Perform basic survey calculations and data processing under supervision.
• Support with downloading, organizing, and reviewing field data.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver's license.
• CST certification preferred.
• AutoCAD Civil 3D experience preferred.
