Survey Technician
What You Will Contribute To OHM Advisors
To contribute to OHM Advisors, as a Survey Technician, you will be an essential part of our Field Services Survey Team, contributing to the timely and accurate collection of data that drives successful project outcomes. Your responsibilities will include supporting a range of technician-level surveying activities, such as assisting with the surveying of roads, building sites, recreation areas, bridges, and environmental locations, as well as helping to determine land boundaries under the direction of a professional surveyor.
Requirements
- A High School Diploma or equivalent.
- 2–5 years of hands-on experience in surveying, including assisting with data collection, operating surveying equipment, and supporting professional surveyors in the field for projects such as roads, building sites, and environmental locations.
- A solid understanding of basic math principles with practical application skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Outlook, Excel).
- Strong organizational skills, a demonstrated ability to manage equipment, and a collaborative team player.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- A current, valid, no restrictions driver’s license.
Physical Requirements
- Both indoor and outdoor work in various temperatures and weather conditions.
- Tasks involve driving, lifting, carrying, reaching, bending, kneeling, crawling, walking, sitting, and standing.
