Responsibilities
- Collect land information using survey instruments, conduct reconnaissance, mark property boundaries, conduct construction stakeout, and assist Land Surveyors with computer-aided drafting and math computations.
- Work independently as a one-man crew.
- Perform work on boundary and topographic surveys, and construction stakeouts.
- Prepare equipment and instruments needed for the day's field work, keep field truck equipped, maintain and store equipment.
- Collect data on significant site features, locate and recover property pins and boundary markers.
- Ensure all projects are completed according to plan schedules, company policy, and production standards.
Requirements
- A minimum of 3 years in land survey field work and demonstrated skills.
- A High School Diploma required.
- An Associates or Bachelors Degree in Land Surveying is beneficial but not required.
- Experience with modern surveying equipment is required. Trimble surveying equipment is preferred.
- AutoCAD experience is preferred, but not required.
- Ability to understand and follow written and oral instructions, ability to clearly communicate information both verbally and in writing.
- A valid driver’s license & reliable transportation required.

Competitive salary.
Schedule
Subject to change with overtime work as needed to meet project schedules. Occasional overnight work and/or travel may be required.
