About the role
GRW Aerial Surveys, Inc. is seeking a Survey Technician in Kentucky.
Responsibilities
- Determine precise location and measurements of points, elevations, lines, areas, and contours for construction, map making, land division, titles, or other purposes.
- Work closely with Survey Crew Chief in the completion of field surveying tasks.
- Work outside in a wide variety of weather and terrain conditions.
- Carry survey gear and lift heavy objects such as manholes and grates.
- Perform boundary, topographic, utility and route location surveys.
- Use GPS, CADD, and terrestrial scanning technologies, methods, and software.
- Operate Trimble surveying equipment.
- Hold a valid driver’s license and travel as required.
- Pass a criminal background check and random drug screenings.
Qualifications
- Experience with GPS, CADD, and terrestrial scanning technologies, methods, and software.
- Experience with Trimble surveying equipment.
