Survey Project Manager
About the role
Bolton & Menk has a great opportunity for a Survey Project Manager to join our Oakdale team. This is a fantastic chance to work with a talented team of professionals and make a lasting impact on the communities we serve.
Responsibilities
- Manage, plan, schedule and perform multiple survey projects and personnel.
- Apply sound survey principles in planning, evaluating, and completing survey projects.
- Review field measurements and direct and assist with preparation of survey documents.
- Perform and direct field surveys as required by scheduling or for professional supervisory and quality control purposes.
- Work on a variety of projects including boundary surveys, ALTA Surveys, Right of Way Plats, CIC Plats, preparation of easements, topographic surveys, and construction staking.
Requirements
- A.S. or B.S. Degree from an accredited college or university.
- Professional Land Surveyor license.
- Working knowledge of surveying equipment and software (Trimble, AutoCAD Civil3D).
- High capacity for self-motivation and ability to apply engineering knowledge to a variety of projects.
- Ability to develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and staff from various agencies.
- Excellent time management, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Advanced math skills.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Valid driver's license and insurable at the Firm's standard rates.
Qualifications
- Must possess a high capacity for self-motivation and be able to apply engineering knowledge to a variety of projects.
- Must possess a valid driver's license and be insurable at the Firm's standard rates.
- Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Must have a working knowledge of surveying equipment and software (Trimble, AutoCAD Civil3D).
- Must have a Professional Land Surveyor license.
