Survey Laborer

Responsibilities
- Support survey layout activities including piles, trenches, and grade stakes
- Operate and assist with GNSS equipment for accurate field measurements
- Read and interpret Issued for Construction (IFC) drawings and point files
- Perform as-built data collection and verify field conditions
- Conduct quality control (QC) checks to ensure layout accuracy
- Identify and communicate out-of-tolerance work
- Assist with daily planning, task sequencing, and coordination with field teams
Qualifications
- Previous survey experience required (construction or related field preferred)
- Ability to work independently on layout and survey-related tasks
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
- Experience performing QC checks and resolving discrepancies
- Basic understanding of construction drawings and site layout processes
- Effective communication skills and ability to collaborate with crews

Physical Demands
- This role may require long periods of standing, walking, and carrying equipment in the field
- This role may require occasional lifting and carrying of heavy equipment
- This position requires working outdoors in various, often extreme weather conditions including rain, snow, heat, cold, etc.
- Candidates must be able to work in all weather conditions, as safety permits
