Survey / Geospatial Technician II

Halff has an immediate opening for a Survey Technician with 5+ years of experience to work in our Fort Worth office. What You Will Do
- Organizing survey research for field to include deeds, plats, and easements
- Reducing field observations
- Preparing data for drafting
- Preparing legal descriptions
- Assisting the RPLS by preparing Survey Reports
- Preparing COGO calculations
- Assisting the RPLS with the Boundary Analysis
- TxDOT production (Parcel Exhibits, ROW Maps)
What You Will Need
- 5+ years of experience as a Survey Technician
- Experience in producing survey maps and plats
- Experience in preparing legal descriptions
- TxDOT experience creating Parcel Exhibits and ROW maps
- Experience with MicroStation V8i, Geopak, and Open Roads Design
Preferred Qualifications
- SIT or CSR I, II, or III certification is desired, but not required
- Previous field experience as a surveyor is a plus
- Public Works or Land Development survey technician experience is a plus
- Experience with Trimble Business Center
- High level of education is a plus (Associate's degree in Land Survey or Bachelor's degree in Land Survey and/or Geospatial Sciences)
- AutoCAD Civil 3D experience is a plus
