Overview
Kimley-Horn is seeking a CAD Operator for its Survey team in Dallas Downtown, Texas. This position is not available remotely.
Responsibilities
- Use basic computer drafting software to generate site plans and construction drawings for Kimley-Horn projects
- Design and produce sets of plans
- Implement and manage AutoCAD drafting and plan preparation standards
- Maintain drawing database
- Perform routine analysis to check accuracy of data
- Develop familiarity with Kimley-Horn’s practices, procedures, and standards
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (an associate's degree is preferred)
- 0 to 3 years of relevant experience
- Proficiency in Autodesk or Bentley products is preferred
- Detail-oriented, professional attitude, good communication, team player, self-starter
- Strong work ethic, interpersonal communication/writing skills, and a desire to learn
- Able to work independently and with a team
